Dr. Ali S. Al Harbi joined Diaverum in April 2014 as the Country Medical Director.
He has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field; as medical doctor, researcher, and holding managerial positions within a number of renal care institutions in Saudi Arabia.
Before joining Diaverum, he worked from 2000 for the Security Forces Hospital Program (SFHP) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he developed a wide range of quality renal care services. Dr. Ali also established the transplant program at King Salman Armed Forces Hospital in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. He has also worked for Ministry of Health and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC) for six years.
Dr. Ali holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from King Saud University College of Medicine, Fellow of the American College of Physicians. F.A.C.C.P, Arab Board of Internal Medicine from King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC), Fellowship in Nephrology, as well as a Diploma in Nephrology and Hypertension from the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, London University, United Kingdom.
