Ali Shakir joined Diaverum in September 2018 as Business Development Director for the Middle East.
He holds over 13 years of regional and international experience of trade and economic diplomacy and management consulting.
Prior to joining Diaverum, he worked in a number of sales, customer care and finance positions for Hi3G Access (3) in Sweden and for 10 years at Business Sweden – the Swedish Trade and Invest Council. He held then a number of senior diplomatic positions in the Middle East and was from 2016 the Swedish Trade Commissioner to Saudi Arabia.
Ali holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University, Sweden. He has also studied international business and finance in Ecole Supérieure de Gestion in Paris, France.
